RCK Kalyan - Walkathon

Rotary Club of Kalyan organised Walkathon for Differently Abled today on Last and Final Day of Service17. We had about 250 Physically Challenged and Blind plus about 35 Rotarians and family participated in this Rally. It started from Rotary Sabhagruh and ended at Rotary Divyang Kendra (Sabnis Residence). All were wearing Rotary Service'17 Cap and Placard displaying important msgs and slogans for betterment of community.

We are thankful to Sanghvi family for ther support and donating blankets.

This day also happens to be the 4th Death Anniversary of Late Rtn Dawoodbhai Bhetasiwala and food packs were distributed in his memory.

All participants appreciated the arrangement and flow of Rally and hence we must compliment our Project Chairman Madan Shanklesha for this successful Walkathon.

Rotary Club of Kalyan - Inauguration of Service17 on 12-Nov-2017 by DG B M Sivarraj, 1st Lady Manonmani, Sarjerao Sawant DS, and other Dist Officer. Also, Complete Week Project Flyer was launched.

Blood Donation Camp

Rotary Club of Kalyan organised Blood Donation Camp in association with CRMS and Sankalp Blood Bank at Kalyan Railway Station PF1 and East Side. Total 165 units of Blood were collect. Our Total Count of Blood Donation since 1-Jul-2017 is now 800+ Units.

Eye Checkup Camp

Rotary Club of Kalyan in Memory of Late Rtn Dawoodbhai Bhetasiwala organised 2nd Eye Check up Camp of this year at Primary Health Center, Khadavli.

Heart Checkup Camp

Rotary Club of Kalyan Orgainsed Heart Check up Camp with Fortis Hospital at Nutan Vidyalay, Kalyan Dr Vivek Mahajan gave presentation on Heart Care and followed by Heart Checkup with Random Sugar, Blood Pressure, ECG, etc was done. Total 161 people took advantage of this Camp in which 110 Pts ECG was taken and 55 pts were given voucher for further test at Fortis.

Rotary Club of Kalyan organised HUNAR - Educational Program - Fun with Science at National Urdu High School, Kalyan. 520 Student participated and learn simple technics on basic principle of Physics.

Women Day

Day by day our team and RCKalyan is making record after record in this Service17.... What a way to Celebrate Rotary Women Day with Teaching/Non Teaching Staff and Interact Club Students of MJB Kanya Vidyalay. On 16-Nov, lead by our Lady Rtn Sushma Patel, Project Chairperson - Displayed Exhibition and Skit on Empowerment of Women - HIND DAMINI. We had 260 Female participation plus about 10 Rotarians.

Exhibition is worth a visit... School shall keep exhibition open for about a weeks time. It displays Women of our Country who made our Country Proud. Display is in English, Gujarati, Marathi and Hindi.... Really wonderful job by Students and Specially efforts by Purvaben Kulkarni and her team of Teachers.

Green Day

Rotary Club of Kalyan experienced another exciting, energetic and electrifying day with more than 1400 Students who actively participated in Rotary Go Green - Environment Educational Film Festival at Nutan Vidyalay with Paryavaran Dakshata Mandal today from 10.30am to 5pm.

RCKalyan -Education Day

Rotary Club of Kalyan organised HUNAR - Educational Program - Fun with Science at National Urdu High School, Kalyan. 520 Student participated and learn simple technics on basic principle of Physics.

Youth Day Aero Modelling Show

UDAAN - Penultimate Event of our Service17, Aero Modelling Show which was participated by more than 10000+ Student, Teachers and Parents and they observed different types of Aero Models Flying and Dynamic Stunts. One of the most valued Gift from Rotary to New Generation on this Rotary Youth Day. Show was inaugurated by Dr Naresh Chandra and DG B M Sivarraj and all 10000+ audience observed skill/technics of Flyer - delightful experience. We had so many Rotary Dist Officer, Eminent Personality of Kalyan as our Guest for the show.

Show stopper Rotary Wheel flying in the sky followed by ROTARY CLUB OF KALYAN banner flying in the skies of Birla College Ground. These were some of the most touching and Proud Moments.... which shall be remembered and cherished for long time by our Rotarians.
