My Dear Josh President Lalitkumar (Prasad) Kulkarni
I am delighted to forward this message to you and your members . The year of JOSH is a “Divine Year” as the new circumstances prevailing world-wide, seems like God’s way of showing us newer methods of serving the Society and conducting the Rotary affairs. I sincerely hope and wish that you are able to achieve the goals that you have set for yourself to lead your Club to newer heights.
Club Bulletin is a powerful medium of communication of Club’s activities both to Rotarians and to the outside world. While the Club members can experience their collective pride reading about their own Club’s activities, the public at large who read the magazine will at once realize the power and reach of Rotary. Your magazine will act as the mouthpiece of your service to the society and can greatly help with your membership goals and participation of prospective Rotarians in your efforts. It is therefore very important that you convey the right information in the right format through your Monthly Bulletins. It may be worthwhile for you to circulate your bulletin to the members of the community that you serve and also to your benefactors, CSR Partners, Donors and other stake holders. I wish you and the members of the Rotary Club of Kalyan all the very best in the JOSH year and hope to frequently interact with all of you in the year ahead.
Thanking you with warm regards,
Dr. Sandeep Kadam
District Governor 2020-21
Greetings to all of you!
Serving as President to the Rotary club of Kalyan with the members for the year 2020-21 is a great privilege and honour. It is a great opportunity and also a great responsibility. During my 11 years journey as Rotarian, I was fortunate to be a part of BODs many times and to chair large scale projects. With all your blessings and support, we together will strive to raise the bar set by past leaders of Rotary club of Kalyan to serve and uphold the Rotary's objectives and purposes.
Rotary club of Kalyan has been serving the society since past 65 years. As we prepare for the new Rotary year in the context of an ongoing global pandemic and a new global recession that it has provoked, I reconfirm that the upcoming team and members of vibrant Rotary club of Kalyan will reach out for collaborative opportunities and betterment of the society.
I am pleased to share with you the Club's new strategy for the year 2020-21: leading with a digital angle for sustainable future to make our year memorable and happy. Despite such uncertainty, I reassure you that our Rotary club of Kalyan family will stand together like a wall through all thick and thin. Come what may, we are together in this and we will have our year with full JOSH.
Our DG Rtn.Dr. Sandeep Kadam has a passionate vision for the JOSH year. I consider myself fortunate to get an opportunity to serve under the leadership of DG. Rtn. Dr. Sandeep Kadam . Our club is a unique blend of experienced and young members and I am sure that with your help we will achieve the goals set by our DG for our club and participate in district initiatives ultimately for betterment of the society.
"Rotary open opportunities" is Rotary International theme for the year 2020-21 and our club has always looked at all obstacles as an opportunity to invent , explore and develop new skills and techniques to serve the community and make world a better place. I have no doubts that our dynamic Rotary club of Kalyan together will experience a marvellous year and make our JOSH year memorable and happy.
